About
The US Economy and Transatlantic Relations Institute was established at Lazarski School of Commerce and Law in July 2007.
The main objective of the Institute is to broaden and promote knowledge and study of the US economy and transatlantic relations (between the US and the European Union). The Institute is an intellectual and research institution aiming to inspire and motivate the faculty, young researchers and ambitious students.
Professor Wojciech Bieńkowski, who published widely on the American economy and US foreign policy issues, is the Director of the Institute.
The Institute aims to:
- conduct research and analysis regarding transatlantic relations and the US economy;
- organize conferences, seminars, and lectures related to transatlantic relations and the US economy;
- announce the Institute’s academic achievements in publications for specialists (both in Poland and abroad) and in the mass media;
- create partnerships with universities and other academic foundations and institutions, both in Poland and abroad;
- take part in the organization and management of educational activities at Lazarski School.
